Tires for Every Budget and the Service to Match
Your tires are the only part of your car actually touching the road; every bit of steering, braking, and grip runs through four palm-sized patches of rubber. Between Houston heat, summer potholes, and freeway miles, they wear faster than most drivers expect. At Wycliffe Automotive, we help you get the most out of them, and we'll tell you straight when it's time for new ones.
We sell new and used tires to fit a range of budgets, and we handle the full service that goes with them: mounting, computer balancing, rotations, and TPMS sensor checks. If you've picked up a nail or have a slow leak, we inspect the tire and repair it when it's safe to do so, rather than automatically selling you a replacement you may not need.
Not sure what size or type your vehicle takes? Give us a call with your year, make, and model, and we'll point you to the right tire for how and where you drive. We're a family-owned shop on the Katy Freeway serving the Energy Corridor, Memorial, Spring Branch, and Katy, no pressure, just honest advice.

Tires — Common Questions
Do you sell new and used tires?
Yes, we carry both, so you can match the tire to your budget. If you're after a specific brand or size we don't have on hand, we can usually source it quickly; just call with your vehicle's year, make, and model.
How do I know when I need new tires?
The quick check is tread depth: put a penny in the groove with Lincoln's head down, if you can see the top of his head, the tread is too low. Cracked sidewalls, bulges, vibration, or a tire that keeps going flat are other signs it's time.
Can you repair my flat, or do I need a new tire?
It depends on where and how big the puncture is. A nail in the main tread area can usually be safely repaired. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, or a large gash, means the tire needs to be replaced for safety. We'll show you which one it is.
Do you do mounting, balancing, and rotations?
Yes. We mount and computer-balance new tires, rotate your existing ones to even out wear, and check your TPMS sensors so your tire-pressure light works the way it should.
Will rotating my tires make them last longer?
It helps a lot. Front and rear tires wear differently, so rotating them on a regular schedule evens out that wear and gets you more miles before replacement. We can do it with your oil change to save you a trip.
